Private Tours

When you tour The Anthony School, you’ll observe the classroom interaction between the students and teachers, learn more about The Anthony School’s advanced curriculum, and experience the enrichment classes offered in all of our PreK-8th grade classes.
Thank you for your interest in The Anthony School for your child’s education.
  • Parents attend a Preview Event during the school year or schedule a personal tour with the Admissions Director, at which time they will receive an Admission Packet.
  • Parents either submit the Application for Admission that is in the Admission Packet or complete an online Admission application. This indicates a strong interest in The Anthony School for a child, but it is not an enrollment commitment from the parents.
  • Parents who choose to continue with the admission process will submit the “Student Referral Form” to their child’s current teacher to be completed ASAP and e-mailed, faxed, or mailed to The Anthony School Admission Director.
  • Complete the “Request for Student Records Form“ and submit it to the child’s current school’s Records Office, which will release all records to The Anthony School.  All items that are applicable to the student must be submitted.
  • All psychological or educational evaluations and diagnoses for learning differences must be submitted, along with detailed information regarding any special educational needs.
  • Updated immunizations must be submitted by May 1st.  (Immunization records are often placed in the school nurse’s files and do not necessarily accompany the academic information from the current school’s Records Office.)
  • Students applying for 2nd – 7th grades will schedule a “shadow day” at The Anthony School by contacting the Admissions Director.
  • Students entering PreK3 – 7th grade will have an interview/skills assessment in the late spring.  Evaluation concerns and diagnosed learning differences will be discussed with parents to determine if The Anthony School is the best fit socially, emotionally, and educationally for the child.  In addition, if a child’s Entrance Interview/Evaluation indicates that a different grade level placement is appropriate, the evaluator will discuss the reasons for the recommended placement with the parents. Enrollment contracts will be issued after the student’s entrance assessment is completed.

We love learning and believe in the power of life-long learning.

"The things that they learn are creative and hands on, very much the way a kid wants to learn."

Our Mission

The Anthony School educates children PreK3 through 8th grade in a challenging and nurturing environment, engages them through an advanced curriculum, and empowers them to become independent and excited students.

We believe that individuality builds confidence, creativity, and innovation.

The Anthony School’s policies and procedures are based on the right of every student to learn and every teacher to teach in an atmosphere of mutual respect.  We provide an environment that enables students to make choices, exercise sound judgment, and develop appropriate academic and social behavior.  Our goal is to teach students the self-discipline required to be successful, both in school and in the broader community.

We believe in the value of honorable character.

Team Anthony

Athletics is one of the most visible activities in the school. The athletic program’s standards, goals, and ideals complement the academic program. Our athletic program seeks to produce student-athletes with a high level of character, field teams that are consistently competitive, and encourage our athletes to represent The Anthony School well. We offer basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. In addition, all of our students  participate in the Presidential Physical Fitness Challenge.

We believe in fostering a sense of community.

The Anthony School believes in the importance of community service and leadership. The school offers multiple service projects throughout the year, and we incorporate these experiences within the curriculum. Leadership is developed through our student government, spelling and geography bees, theatrical productions, athletics, and the National Junior Honor Society.

Anthony Students are Well Prepared.
